The rhythm of people performing everyday life along each other.

Defined by frequency, intensity and duration  in time.

Multitude of practices cluster in time and space patterning the social space.

Every space has its own characteristic pattern of practices. The pattern of the Agora changes a lot during time: during work time all the rhythms are quite intense and they slow down in the evening; rhythms of transit (walking past, leaving/arriving) are, in general, intense; on Saturday and Sunday, while every rhythm intensity is lower, one practice - taking photos - is very acute; during all the week some practices are constant, these of the homeless people whom inhabit the square (red points).

In Place du Luxembourg the rhythms of "consume" are always predominant and very high: the formal sittings go at the same pace of drinking/eating. Waiting is always high because of the bus stops and the taxis.

The pattern of Place Jourdan is similar to Place du Luxembourg, except for the always quite intense rhythm of people queueing/waiting, because of the always long queue to buy the French fries: this is lower only before the opening of the friterie at 11:30.

In the Parc Léopold, the "informal" rhythms - like sleeping, informal sitting, playing - are the strongest : they can increase a lot during lunch break or aperitif time. The presence of a homeless man who inhabits the park is constant (red point).
